M & S asked me if I would take some detail shots before their wedding ceremony and because I adore weddings in any capacity I said yes! After spending the morning with the couple I wished that I could have stuck around for the whole day.

G & K {Engaged} | Abbotsford Photographer
This was my very first cultural wedding event. This is only the engagement party and it was wonderful. The soon to be bride was magnificent, the music was rockin' and the people were amazing! The lighting was to die for at our location under a hwy over pass in Abbotsford, B.C. The couple wanted something different as the rest of their engagement and wedding are very traditional. So the graffiti filled over pass was chosen. I fell in love with the beautiful golden sun flare shots of the couple. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
S & A {Hitched} | Chilliwack Wedding Photography
This wedding took place at The Falls in Chilliwack B.C. Dispite the drizzle it was a quaint and beautiful wedding with family from all over the globe.
"Sweet" Family | Abootsford Family Photographer
I have had the privilege to be photographing the "H" family for two years now. They are always such a hoot to be with. It is also so neat to watch how much the kids grow! We went to the historic Clayburn Village in Abbotsford, BC I love the vibrant colors that this family was dressed in and the weather was just as vibrant as well that morning!
Equine Beauty | Maple Ridge Portrait Photography
Megan (the beautiful gal in these photos) and I had been talking for awhile about getting together and taking some photos with her and her horse Raz. I jumped at the opportunity to get some shots with a horse. I think that horses are amazing and gorgeous animals. Truth be told I am terrified of them! So I was quite nervous as I rode up to the red barn full of horses (in Maple Ridge, B.C.). We took some shots around the barnyard and then took a stroll down the street to a vacant field where the photography magic happened. By the end of the shoot I didn't feel so nervious around Raz, and even ended the session with a friendly pat on Raz's back. I can reassure you that you still won't catch me riding a horse anytime soon!

Short & Sweet Video
This is my first attempt at stop motion video. I was inspired by the vintage crossword game I picked up at a second hand store for only .50 cents! I love the colors on it. This little ditty took 3 hours over and 900 frames to complete. I hope you enjoy it and share it. I look forward to making many more!! This video is also avalible on YouTube

Fraser Valley Model Meet & Greet
I have had the wonderful oppertunity to be involved wtih an amazing group of photographers and models. The meet and greet is designed so that it is a win/win situation for everyone involved. The models get some prints for their portfolios and the photographers get to work with some of the ideas that often swirl around in our heads. This meet and greet took place back in May at Douglas Taylor Park in Abbotsford, B.C. It was a fantastic turnout and the images that I captured have earned a place in my top 20 photos. If you are a model and would like to join us please visit this link for more details Please enjoy and leave me a comment! I love to hear what you all have to say!
Q-nique {newborn}
I just adore newborn sessions! It is a couple of hours of tiny baby bliss, where you get to snuggle, coo, and enjoy the smell of new baby. All that on top of getting to capture all the cuteness through my camera lens. This little tyke was an absolute dream to work with. He slept the entire time of the session. He was in such a deep slumber I had the chance to move him around and add in some props. One of them being the delightful long elf cap made by "Stitches From The Mrs". The natural light that poured into the windows was sublime. No flash needed! So I managed to snag some fantastic shots, get a baby fix all in one day! Please enjoy these photos and feel free to comment and "like" the facebook page. ~D~
